Netflix’s newest animated movie, The Willoughbys, is based on the children’s book of the same name by Lois Lowry. The book parodies various children’s stories with happy endings, as the Willoughby children seek out their own happy ending — or at “least a satisfyingly maudlin one.”

26 APRIL – THE LAST KINGDOM (NETFLIX)
Landing on Netflix on Sunday the 26th of April are 10 new episodes of The Last Kingdom, the bloodthirsty historical drama based on Bernard Cornwell’s ‘The Saxon Stories’ novel saga. Season four continues the story of Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon), a Saxon-born but Viking-raised warrior who became King Alfred’s military right-hand-man/mortal enemy/cherished friend over the course of the first three seasons.
27 APRIL – NEVER HAVE I EVER (NETFLIX)
Inspired by Mindy Kaling’s own childhood, Never Have I Ever is a new coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl. The series stars newcomer, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.
