Last night, the 93rd Academy Awards honoured the best films of 2020 and early 2021. It was the first time the Oscars have been held virtually and in-person, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In a night of firsts, Chloé Zhao makes history as the first non-white woman to win best director, Anthony Hopkins becomes the oldest recipient of Best Actor, and Daniel Kaluuya becomes the first black British actor to win an Oscar.
