SEGA

SEGA Village at MCM Comic Con

Brief

Experience 12 were given the mission to design and build an exhibition space to showcase four of SEGAs current titles.

What we did

Execution

The SEGA stand was split across four franchises, each with their own unique themes, styles and objectives for being at MCM.

The Sonic Frontiers stand consisted of 12 PC stations, showcasing the game 12 days before launch. This would act as the final hands-on experience for consumers before the official release and was met with a 2-hour queue throughout the 3 days of the show!

For Like A Dragon!: Ishin, this was the UKs first public hands on with the title since the announcement earlier this year. The stand consisted of 12 gameplay stations using PS5 dev kits and was another stand out must play title for the MCM. So much so, that the Ishin stand was even the location for a Yakuza themed marriage proposal! Awwww!

The Demon Slayer area of the booth displayed the newest DLC characters for the game, giving players a hands-on experience with new content ahead of its release on the Nintendo Switch.

For the Persona 5 Royale stand, to celebrate the next gen re-release of P5R, we created a unique photo opportunity inspired by the Battle UI from Persona 5 itself!

The branded space and photo op itself stole the hearts of fans and saw a huge amount of attention along with a fair share of Persona cosplay! And attendees grabbed a photo at the stand over 1300 times over the weekend! 90 people took part in the social competition and 2650 P5 Pin Badges were distributed over the 3 days!

To complete the overarching SEGA brand, we designed a small area with seating which connected the overall stands together to showcase all upcoming SEGA releases and gave fans and SEGA influencers a space to take all that SEGA x EX12 had to offer in at the show.
