WATCH | It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Now officially the longest-running sitcom with 15 seasons and currently in production with season 16. Always Sunny is a longstanding go-to comfort binge-watch.
Featuring Charlie Day, Rob McElhenny, Kaitlin Olsen, Glenn Howerton and the legend that is Danny DeVito, it’s a show that shows the literal worst of the worst of us. And it’s hilarious. Holding a mirror up to the excesses of selfishness and greed with laugh-out-loud results, you can’t help but be endeared by the ghastly gang. Perfect to curl up with during the current cold snap.
EAT | Fontaines Cocktail bar
Fontaine’s is a beautiful female-owned Art Deco cocktail bar in Dalston, east London.
With classic cocktails served in vintage glassware, every detail of the bar has been lovingly recreated from 1940s photos, from the downstairs lounge to the glamorous bathrooms!
There are always delightful little one-off events of great cult movie classics, plus live Jazz in the downstairs Bamboo Lounge. It’s owned and run by Burlesque Legend Emerald Fontaine and is truly the epitome of decadent class and elegant excess.

WATCH | Winnie the Pooh – Blood and Honey
It went into development after the 1926 Winnie-the-Pooh book entered the public domain in the United States on 1 January 2022. On a budget under $100,000, a ten-day shoot for the film took place in the Ashdown Forest of East Sussex, England, which serves as inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood, the setting for the stories. It’s already proved controversial, and the general consensus is that it’s questionable in both taste and decency, so a guaranteed Cult Classic is in the making.
Prior to WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY screenings on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th & Monday 13th March, feature the horror short film, SCREEN 1; which was shot on location at the Prince Charles Cinema.
READ | Genesis by Chris Carter
Chris Carter has been writing brutal crime thrillers for a while and frequently tops the best-seller lists and it’s easy to see why. The books are gripping and dark and the newest book Genesis, out now in paperback, is the bloodiest one yet. Drawing on Carter’s own experience as a criminal psychologist has helped to craft a well-rounded and well-thought-out villain of the evilest imagination. Not for the faint of heart for sure!
